1 Day TEFL Taster

Who is this course for?

This 1 day look into the World of Tefl is for those who would like to get a better idea of what EFL teaching is all about before they commit to doing a TEFL course.

Who is eligible to do this course?

You need to be educated to at least A’ level standard and be over 18 years old.

What does the course involve?

The timetable for the course is as follows:

9.00 - 10.30	Introduction to TEFL, job prospects and the Trinity Tesol Certificate course
10.30 - 1045	Coffee Break
10.45 - 12.15	Observation of EFL class
12.15 - 13.15	Lunch
13.15 - 14.30	How to be an effective language teacher and the different methodologies involved
14.30 - 15.30	The role of grammar, vocabulary and phonology
15.30 - 15.45	Coffee Break
15.45 - 16.45	Foreign language lesson
16.45 - 17.45	The language classroom and the role of the EFL teacher, feedback on the day

How much does the course cost?

The taster day is £75.
Anybody doing the Taster course who then goes on to do the Trinity Certificate at our centre will receive a £45 voucher

Can TEFL London help me find a job?

Yes. We have a careers officer who gives careers advice to Certificate trainees and who will put them in touch with employees from all over the world.

When can I do the 1 Day TEFL Taster?

The courses are run on Saturdays from 9.00 - 18.00.
