FAQ for Refresher Courses

1. Do the courses include any qualified teacher observation or observed teaching practice.

Yes! All of the courses offered include qualified teacher observation and whenever possible, we try to provide participants with the opportunity to do some observed teaching practice lessons.

2. What is the timetable?

Our courses run from 9am to 2.00pm daily, Monday to Friday.

3. How long are the courses for?

Each course lasts 2 weeks and includes 50 contact hours of study.

4. Are there any organised social activities?

Yes. The school offers a full and varied programme of social activities that take place during the week, as well as trips around London and to other exciting cities at the weekends.

5. Will I get a Certificate on completion of the course?

Teachers who complete our refresher courses will receive a TEFL London Certificate at the end of the course.

6. How do I book a place on the course?

In order to book a place on the course a deposit of £150 needs to be paid. Full course fees need to be paid at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the course, although late entries will be considered.

7. Does the school provide accommodation?

Yes. We are able to provide a range of accommodation in London from Homestays to flatshare or residence. Click here for more details >>

8. Will I get the opportunity to improve my English during the course.

Teachers will find that their own English language ability will improve significantly during their stay in London as they are being taught solely in English, communicate with their international peers in English and can take part in our social programme. In addition to this, all participants will have the option of supplementing their course with English Language lessons at our centre.
