Apply
- Complete the on-line application form. (THIS APPLICATION FORM TEMPLATE CAN BE ADAPTED FOR OUR USE)
- When we receive your application form, we will contact you by e-mail giving you an appointment for a telephone interview (or for an interview in person, if you are in or near the course location). If the time is not convenient for you, please reply suggesting alternatives. If you use Skype you can call us from your computer free of charge. Visit www.skype.com to download the programme free of charge.
- You call for the interview and speak to a senior member of our training team. In the interview you discuss language teaching and learning, your reasons for wanting to do the course and your expectations. You will be asked to discuss questions about how the English language works. These are designed to raise your awareness of what to expect on the course. It is not a test as such and you do not need to prepare for this. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may still have about the course. It is a two-way interview: we need to be sure that we don't offer a place to - and accept money from - someone who we feel does not have a good chance of passing the course, and you need to be sure that you are investing your time and money in the right place. The interview lasts about 25 minutes.
- You will be sent an e-mail the day after the interview confirming you have been offered a place (or explaining why you haven't). The email contains information about the pre-course task, travel, accommodation, welfare and about how and when to pay.
- Your place on the course is reserved when you pay your deposit (£200). The remaining fees must be paid 3 weeks before the course start date at the latest, or you may lose your place. Accommodation should be paid for at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. In the case of cancellation, with less than 7 days notice, a one week cancellation fee is applicable.
