Bloomsbury

Bloomsbury is an area of central London notable for its gardened squares, its literary connections and academic institutions. It was the centre for “the Bloomsbury group” which included such famous writers as Virginia Wolf, E.M. Forster and Vanessa Bell, amongst others, and was the home to the great Charles Dickens.

Wandering through its charming Georgian streets and squares you will find the British Museum, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the British Medical Association, and the University of London, including SOAS, University College London and Birkbeck amongst others.
